Tina Schroeder - Massage Therapist

Tina received her training at the Cortiva Institute of Federal Way, where she graduated with honors. Having experienced the powerful effects of massage after suffering from a pinched sciatic nerve, Tina is passionate about using her skills to improve the quality of life for others who are suffering from an injury or chronic pain. She is able to incorporate a variety of massage techniques into her massage sessions. These include Deep Tissue work, Myofascial Release, Positional Release, Hydro Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Re-Education, and a variety of active and passive stretching techniques.

Tina is known for her gentle and caring approach, believing that injury treatment massage is best done after the muscles are warmed up and the client is relaxed and comfortable. Careful communication throughout the process ensures that the client is in control of how deep the massage is, and aware of what’s happening at all times. Tina enjoys working as a team to find the source of your pain and help relieve the discomfort. She is always willing to provide education about home self-care to extend the benefits of massage and help prevent future injury.

Everyone can benefit from a massage! It can help to improve range of motion, correct postural imbalances, encourage blood circulation, facilitate lymphatic drainage, reduce muscle adhesion, break up scar tissue, release tension, and improve the condition of injured, tired and overused muscles. Aside from these physical benefits, massage releases endorphins which help to promote relaxation, provide stress relief, lessen depression and anxiety, and help overcome emotional blocks. Tina will work closely with you and the Chiropractor to develop the most effective treatment plan to help you reach your goals and improve your quality of life.
